My device won't connect to Bluetooth

If you have the device next to your phone and you are not seeing a little Bluetooth icon on the Device's screen, it's possible you're having a Bluetooth issue.  

Please follow these steps:

If you are running old firmware, you need to update it.  
To update it, please follow the instructions in this article - https://support.pinggps.com/article/120-i-cant-update-my-firmware

If you have multiple devices... 

  1. Move the others more than 40 feet away from your phon
  2. But the device you want to connect to next to your phone
  3. Wait a couple of minutes

If your firmware is up to date (i.e. no message is displayed telling you to update it)...

  1. Restart your phone
  2. Reset the device (click here for instructions)
  3. Launch the app and give it a minute
